Last week, I talked about my first trip to Vegas. While I got a few experiences in like going to the wax museum and zip lining for the first time, there are still things I want to do there.

Eat More Food

I think I’ve written a few times on here about how much I love food and Vegas is such a great place for foodies. From restaurants in each resort to buffets, there’s so many options.

Buffets

I’d actually want to go back to the Bellagio’s buffet and fully enjoy it without rushing. That being said, I also want to go to another buffet: The Bacchanal Buffet in Caesar’s Palace.

I remember during the time I was planning the trip, I read blogs and watched a couple of Youtube videos of things to do in Vegas and more than one source said the Bacchanal was the best buffet in Vegas. I’m almost positive we didn’t choose that one last time because of the price. If I get the chance to go to Vegas again, I’ll budget for this buffet; I have a feeling it’ll be worth it.

Vegas.com also has a list of Top 10 Buffets in Las Vegas for more buffet options.

Hell’s Kitchen

My mom and I walked past Hell’s Kitchen but knew we couldn’t afford it (and didn’t really want what was on the menu posted outside the restaurant at the time).  I’d still like to experience eating at Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas one day, though. I have to try Gordon Ramsay’s beef wellington!

See a Show (Magic or an Artist in Residency)

I’ve always wanted to go to a Vegas show because I hear they go all out. A magic show would be fun and I’ve never been to one before. What comes to mind as a magic show to see is Penn & Teller. However, I’m up for any magic show.

I’d also love to see one the Vegas concerts from an artist in a residency. I love going to concerts and the ones in Vegas feel glamorized. Something about seeing them in residency gives me the feeling that they have all the bells and whistles to truly make it an experience.

My Dad and step-Mom went to Las Vegas while Usher is in residence but he was taking a break during the time they were there.

Ride the Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York

Because of the 4-hour time share presentation during my last trip, I missed out on going to New York-New York to ride their roller coaster, the Big Apple Coaster.

As I mentioned during my Disney Thrills post, I love roller coasters. If there’s one in close proximity, I want to ride it. So, I was understandably livid.

I’m sure it’s a short ride and there’s only so much they can do with it being in the result, but a coaster is a coaster!

Go Off the Strip

When the average person thinks of Vegas they think of the Las Vegas Strip with all the different resorts. While the strip is fun, there are plenty of things to do outside of the strip. The strip can also get pretty crowded. Doing things off the strip could be a break from the crowds. I definitely wanted a break during my time there.

Go to Fremont Street

Going off the strip means I could go to Fremont Street. During my initial research, a lot of sources said to visit Fremont Street. Because we’d only be there four days and there was so much I wanted to do on the strip, I knew we wouldn’t have time. If I were to visit Las Vegas again, I’d make time.

This street is in Downtown Las Vegas which about a 14-minute drive from strip. There’s free live music, another zip line, different museums to see, and tours to do.

Go to Omega Mart

I keep seeing Tiktoks and Instagram posts of this place ever since I’d been to Vegas and now I really want to go.

Omega Mart is a “grocery store”- more like an exhibit – where you can buy these unique items. That, and there different parts of the store where you can go through a secret entrance into the fun side (not saying grocery shopping can’t be fun sometimes).

I think I’d spend just as much time in the store-part as I would in the secret world part just to see all the things they have. There’s also a free entry to Area 15 included in your ticket to Omega Mart (though they stress that Omega Mart and Area 15 are not the same thing).

It’s about a 7-minute drive from the strip so it isn’t far all.

That’s about all the other things I’d want to do Las Vegas. I won’t lie though, I’d probably spend a day just trying the different restaurants. What’s something you’d like to do or have do in Las Vegas? Leave it in the comments below!
