After we had our last Disney park day in Magic Kingdom, day 6 is the day we all flew home. While we aren’t going to any parks or Disney Springs it was still an eventful day.

Elise, Cali, and Skye had early flights so they left around 4 or 5AM. We said our goodbyes the night before but I sleepily hugged them goodbye again as they exited the room.

When Sky and I officially woke up, we looked around the entire room to make sure nothing was left behind or too messy. Some of my friends left their things behind so I packed them with me and shipped the items to them when I got home.

We still had a lot of snacks left over and neither of our suitcases were large enough to pack it all so we ended up leaving a box of chips. I put a note on it saying housekeeping could eat it but who knows if they did.

Sky and I took Mears Connect back together. Her flight was a couple hours earlier than mine so technically we had different bus pick-up times. Thankfully, the bus driver allowed me to get on this bus and marked me off so the other bus driver wouldn’t be looking for me.

The Disney Magic

When we got the airport we came across the Disney gift shop on the way to security. We decided to walk in, not ready to leave Disney yet. And guess what? To my surprise, they had the mug I was looking for at the hotel! I got so excited but I didn’t want to spend any more money. I had to save for my closing.  Sky ended up buying the mug for me as a housewarming present. If that’s not some lingering Disney Magic, I don’t know what is.

After that, we went through security. Her airline was in a different terminal than mine but since I had time before my flight, I waited with her until she got on the plane.

Unfortunately, I had to go through security again because her terminal and mine were across the airport from each other and they were behind two different security lines. Luckily for me, the line wasn’t long.

I flew home a couple of hours later already missing Disney.

This post isn’t super long but, that is the end of my Disney trip! I had such a great time and recounting everything made me want to go again. I definitely think next time I won’t be so strict on myself when it comes to spending. And maybe I’ll add an extra day or two to not go to a park and rest.

There are also some new rides that have been added since I’ve been. I want to get a chance to ride those for sure.
